Come in to the Library on Monday or Wednesday between 10 AM and 3 PM to make an appointment in person.

Please make a separate appointment for each year in which you need a return prepared. Also make a separate appointment for each individual who is having a separate return prepared. Preparing a return for you and a separate return for a parent or child requires a separate appointment for each one.

Before your appointment you will need to pick up and complete an Intake Booklet available in the lobby of the library

Documents you will need to bring to your appointment:

Copy of last year’s federal & state tax return
Bank information, if direct debit for taxes owed or direct deposit of refund is desired
W-2 forms showing income from your employer
1099-R forms showing pension or annuity income
SSA-1099 forms showing Social Security benefits
1099-DIV,-INT,-MISC,-OID forms showing dividends, interest, NYS tax refund, gambling income, etc
Health Care information received from the Marketplace, if any
Any other information concerning your income or deductions
Photo ID and Social Security/ITIN cards
